Nablus/ PNN /

Three Palestinians have Thursday been killed by Israeli forces during a military raid in the Old Town of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.

According to the Ministry of Health, three Palestinians have so far been confirmed to have been killed by Israeli gunfire during the raid.

The three Palestinians were identified as Moath Masri, Ibrahim Jabr and Hasan Qatanani.

The Ministry said that the faces of two of the slain Palestinians were completely distorted due to the seriousness of their injury, which made them hard to identify.

Israeli undercover forces raided al-Yasmina neighborhood and surrounded a Palestinian house as large units of forces proceeded to break into the Old City.

According to eyewitnesses, Israeli forces opened fire at the targeted house and fired Energa anti-tank rifle grenade, all while preventing medical crews from approaching the area.

The Ministry of Health said that with the death toll of the three Nablus martyrs this morning, the number of martyrs since the beginning of this year has risen to 107, including 20 children and one woman.

Thousands of Nablus residents participated in the funeral procession of the three youths, which started from Nablus Governmental Hospital."

Dozens of armed Palestinians from the Palestinian factions resisting the Israeli occupation participated in the funeral ceremonies

The flags of the Fatah and Hamas movements were also raised, and the participants chanted patriotic slogans denouncing the crime carried out by special Israeli units in the occupation army.

The spokesperson for the presidency, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, condemned the continued invasion of Palestinian cities and the daily killings of our people, the latest of which was the martyrdom of three in the Old City of Nablus.

Abu Rudeineh warned that the continued Israeli escalation against our people, land, and sanctities would escalate the situation in the region and push it to a stage that is difficult to control.

He added that we hold the Israeli occupation government fully responsible for this escalation policy that drives things towards violence and tension.

Abu Rudeineh called on the US administration to intervene immediately and pressure to stop the escalating Israeli aggression against our people, land, and sanctities, and not to settle for a policy of condemnation, as the situation on the ground has become extremely difficult, and no one can predict its repercussions.

For its part Palestinian Presidency condemn and warn against the continuation of the killings and the storming of cities, and we demand the US administration to stop the aggression.

Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh Thursday slammed Israel's killing of three Palestinians in the Old Town of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus, holding the Israeli government responsibile for these crimes against Palestinian people.

Shtayyeh said that the Israeli crimes 'don't stop until they start again in a more terrifying and deadly way, by targeting children, women, and the elderly.

The PM called on the international community to unify standards and hold Israel accountable for its horrific crimes and continuous violations against Palestinian people.
