Israeli bulldozers Thursday demolished a Palestinian-owned school in al-Qaboun Bedouin community in the village of Kafr Malik, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah.

The head of the Kafr Malik village council, Najeh Rustom, told WAFA that the occupation forces, reinforced with military bulldozers, stormed the Bedouin community of al-Qaboun, east of the town, and demolished the only school in it, known as Ras al-Tin school.

He added that the residents of the Bedouin community were recently forced to leave the area due to the ongoing Israeli settler attacks on them and their properties.

Rustom pointed out that, last Sunday, settlers broke the windows of the school and destroyed its contents, before the bulldozers of the occupation demolished it this morning.

He pointed out that the school used to accommodate about 50 students, from the first to the ninth grade, and that they were distributed in 5 classrooms.

It is noteworthy that about 500 people used to live in Qaboun Bedouin community before they were forced to leave it forcibly due to the attacks of the occupation and the settlers, to the outskirts of the villages of al-Mughayyir, Kafr Malik and Khirbet Abu Falah, east of Ramallah.
