RAMALLAH, Palestine / PNN /
Seven independent Palestinian media organizations from the occupied West Bank, Gaza Strip and Palestinian communities inside Israel have launched a joint public survey aimed at identifying the issues people consider most important in their daily lives and deserve greater media attention.
The initiative, titled “Your Voice Shapes Our Story: A Survey on Priorities and Media Coverage,” invites Palestinians to share their concerns, priorities and expectations, with a particular focus on hearing from younger generations about their experiences, questions and hopes for the future.
The participating organizations said the initiative seeks to create a shared space for reflection on Palestinian society today and tomorrow, allowing people to help shape the media agenda by identifying issues that directly affect their lives.
Responses will be used to inform the production and publication of journalistic reports that reflect the priorities expressed by participants, the organizers said.
The survey is brief and does not require respondents to provide their names, an approach intended to protect their privacy and encourage participation.
The seven participating organizations are Wattan Media Network, Seen 48, Palestine News Network (PNN), Kull al-Nas Radio and Television, Al-Balad Radio and Television, Zaman FM and Shaab Radio FM.
The initiative marks a joint effort by independent Palestinian media outlets to strengthen public participation in journalism and ensure that coverage better reflects the concerns and needs of the communities they serve.
