The International Movement for the Defense of Children documented the martyrdom of the children: Hajar Khalil Salah Al-Bahtini (4 years old), Mayar Tareq Ibrahim Az Aldin (10 years old), her brother Ali (8 years old), and Iman Alaa Ata Adas (17 years old), in airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes around 2:00 am, targeting residential buildings in different areas of the Gaza Strip.

The "International Movement" stated that the targeting of residential buildings and civilian facilities, including civilians, especially children, is a consistent policy by the Israeli occupation authorities at the highest political and military levels.

It added that with the martyrdom of the four children today in the Gaza Strip, the number of Palestinian children killed by the Israeli occupation since the beginning of this year in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, has risen to 24 children.

The "International Movement" affirmed that the international silence and the absence of international will and desire to hold the occupation state accountable for its crimes against Palestinians send a message of protection to it from being held accountable. This encourages it to continue violating the rights of Palestinian children and escalating its aggression, especially under the current fascist Israeli government.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli occupation killed 60 children during its aggression on the Gaza Strip in 2021, while the number of child martyrs during the aggression it launched on the Strip in August 2022, which lasted for two days, reached 17 children.
