President Mahmoud Abbas sent a message to US President Donald Trump congratulating him on his safety following an assassination attempt that also targeted his wife and Vice President JD Vance.

In the message, President Abbas expressed his condemnation and rejection of the attempted attack, reaffirming his full rejection of all forms of violence by any party.
