Dozens of Palestinian civilians were last night and early Wednesday killed and injured in the Israeli occupation’s missile and artillery shelling on various areas of the Gaza Strip.

In the city of Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, at least 11 people were killed, and dozens were injured as a result of the occupation warplanes bombing several homes in al-Maghazi camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Medical teams also recovered two slain Palestinians and several injuries from a house in Abu al-Ajen area southeast of Deir al-Balah after it was targeted by artillery shelling.

In Al-Bureij camp, two citizens were killed, and several other citizens were injured as a result of the targeting of a house owned by Al-Dawli family in the vicinity of the entrance to the camp.

In Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, seven people were injured as a result of the occupation bombing of a house owned by Dalloul family.

The occupation artillery targeted the neighborhoods of Tal Al-Hawa and Sheikh Ajlin in Gaza City, coinciding with heavy gunfire, while quadcopter military marches opened fire in the vicinity of 20th Street, east of Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

In the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, the occupation artillery fired several shells towards residential neighborhoods, and also fired its shells at the eastern areas of the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of the city of Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources confirmed that the death toll from the Israeli onslaught since October 7 has risen to 36,550 reported Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 82,959 individuals sustaining injuries.

The number of victims is expected to increase further as rescue and emergency teams face challenges in accessing the affected areas, with hundreds more feared buried under the rubble of destroyed buildings.
