Nablus /PNN /
The Israeli occupation forces “IOF” and settlers continued their aggression against Palestinian people, their holy sites, and properties yesterday Friday. During confrontations, raids, and suppressions of activities, two young men were martyred, and several citizens were injured by live ammunition and suffocation. Additionally, settlers uprooted dozens of olive trees in the south of Bethlehem, and they invaded the Ein Sultan camp northwest of Jericho.
The child, Mohammed Fuad Ata Al-Bayyad (17 years old), succumbed to his head injury caused by live bullets. Another young man (24 years old) was critically injured during clashes that erupted with Israeli occupation forces in the village of Um Safa, north of Ramallah.
The Ministry of Health reported two serious injuries by live ammunition in the head and abdomen, and these injuries were transferred to the referral hospital from Um Safa village before doctors announced the martyrdom of the child Al-Bayyad, who was a resident of the Jalazone camp, north of Ramallah.
Furthermore, the young man, Fawzi Hani Makhalfa (18 years old), was martyred, and another young man, Mohammad Omar Makhmar, was injured before his arrest last night, due to direct targeting by Israeli occupation forces with live bullets on a vehicle they were riding in the town of Sebastia, northwest of Nablus.
Ahmed Jibril, the Director of Ambulance and Emergency at the Red Crescent in Nablus, stated that the Red Crescent teams transferred the body of the martyr Makhalfa after he was executed by the occupation forces with live bullets while he was in a vehicle along with another young man who was shot and then arrested by the occupation forces.
According to an eyewitness, the Israeli occupation forces executed the young man, Fawzi Makhalfa, by directly shooting at the vehicle and prevented medical assistance in the town of Sebastia.
Local sources confirmed that the Israeli forces fired heavily at a vehicle in Sebastia, with civilians inside.
The eyewitnesses reported that the young man was surprised by the presence of Israeli soldiers after he took a detour from the entrance. The soldiers then opened fire intensively, firing about fifty bullets, resulting in injuries to the driver, Makhalfa, and his friend.
Despite being injured, the driver continued driving the car, which was not under his control due to the severity of his injuries. The car collided with a wall, and even after the collision, Israeli soldiers continued shooting at it, surrounding and preventing any ambulance from approaching. However, the determination of the paramedics eventually led them to reach the martyr, but the Israeli forces insisted on arresting the young man's friend.
The head of Sebastia Council responded to the Israeli army's claim that their soldiers were subjected to an attempt to run them over, stating that this claim is an attempt to manipulate the truth and evade responsibility for the field execution of the young man, Fawzi Makhalfa.
Several citizens suffered from suffocation due to toxic tear gas during confrontations that erupted after the occupation's raid on the village.
In addition, three citizens were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets, and dozens suffered from suffocation due to toxic tear gas during confrontations that erupted with the occupation forces after the weekly anti-settlement march in Kafr Qaddum, east of Qalqilya.
A young man was shot in his right arm and left hand fingers, and dozens suffered from suffocation after the occupation forces attacked a funeral in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.
Moreover, the occupation forces suppressed citizens who performed prayers at the protest tent set up in "Al-Bustan" neighborhood in Silwan town, south of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, against the occupation's plans to demolish houses, displace residents, and target their properties.
The occupation forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets and sound grenades at the worshippers, sprayed them with wastewater, and assaulted them with batons.
