"Dr. Amal Jadou Honored as Best Diplomacy Graduate by Fletcher School

Fletcher School of Diplomacy and International Law, the oldest diplomatic school in the United States, has awarded Dr. Amal Jadou, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, the Best Diplomacy Graduate Working in the Government Sector in her country.

The award was granted to Dr. Jadou in recognition of the university's celebration of its 90th anniversary this year.

The university also awarded the American graduate Monica Rose, the Executive Director of the Digital Diplomacy Program at Microsoft, the Excellence Cup during the ceremony.

The official celebration to honor Dr. Jadou was attended by Leslie Booth, the President of the University's Board of Trustees, Rachel Kate, the Dean of the University, as well as a large number of students, graduates, professors, and university staff. Ms. Booth, the President of the University's Board of Trustees, presented the award and certificates to the honored individuals.

Dr. Jadou commented on receiving this international award on her Facebook page, saying, “I am honored to be awarded the Best Diplomacy Graduate Working in the Government Sector by the Fletcher School of Diplomacy and International Law, the oldest diplomatic school in the United States.”

During her speech at the ceremony, Ambassador Jadou dedicated the award to all distinguished Palestinian women.

The dean of the university moderated a dialogue on the prospects of supporting and developing women in the field of foreign policy.

Dr. Jadou added that she always takes pride in representing her homeland and people on all platforms, as this feeling gives her a great sense of responsibility in carrying out this duty.

Dr. Jadou emphasized that this recognition further strengthens her determination to do more in serving the Palestinian people in all international forums. She stressed that she will remain faithful to Palestinian women, her people, and our Palestinian national rights.

Furthermore, Dr. Jadou expressed deep gratitude to all those who supported and stood by her in her work, including her colleagues at the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, friends, and those who believe in the capabilities of the women of this nation.

She also dedicated this achievement to her family, her mother, father, and husband, who inspire her to strive for greater accomplishments.

Dr. Jadou also thanked Darna Center for Palestinian Fashion and Heritage for the Palestinian attire and embroidery she proudly wore during the award ceremony. It served as a representation of the history, heritage, and struggle of the Palestinian people, warning of their connection to their land and homeland for thousands of years.
