Palestinian sources reported today, Wednesday, the start of a cease-fire between the Palestinian factions and the "Israeli" occupation, and it will be simultaneous and conditional on the commitment of the two parties.
The source told Al-Jazeera, which contented itself with not being named, that "the ceasefire agreement entered into force," noting that it was the result of mediation by parties to stop the "Israeli" aggression.
Since yesterday evening, the Israeli occupation army launched a military air attack on the Strip, targeting dozens of resistance sites in several areas of the Strip.
Israeli fighter jets embarked on a series of airstrikes tonight across the besieged Gaza Strip, causing massive damage to multiple targets but no casualties so far, according to local sources.
The sources said Israeli warplanes attacked with missiles a target northwest of Gaza City, causing damage and fire to the site bombed. Damage was also reported in houses adjacent to the targeted area.
In Khan Yunis, south of the coastal enclave, Israeli fighter jets attacked and destroyed a target to the west of the city, and caused damage to nearby residential facilities.
In the town of Jabalia, north of the Strip, at least one target was reportedly bombed by Israeli warplanes, resulting in damage and fire. No casualties were reported.
Explosions from Israeli airstrikes are also being reported in many locations across the besieged Gaza Strip in what could be the start of a new aggression.
