The Jerusalem Distrect Electricity Company launched the Ramadan Goodness 2023 campaign by delivering the first batch of food parcels to the Sun'a Al-Amal Charity Association in the Bethlehem Governorate, in the presence of the Director of Public and International Relations and Protocol in the Jerusalem Distrect Electric Company, and Emad Abu Nssar the Director of Sunna" Al-Amal Association, and members of the association's board of directors.
Jabran handed over the food parcels to the association's management, conveying greetings from the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company and its General Manager, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari, stating that this campaign is an annual tradition of the company as part of its work to support our people and empower them within its vision and plan of action.
Jabran said, "We launch this annual and national charity campaign, which targets families in need in the governorates covered by the company's services, and reflects the national and authentic aspect of this Jerusalem-based national company, which strengthens the resilience of families and the social role played by the company."
He emphasized that the message of this campaign is that our people are blessed every year, and that the company will continue its efforts to serve the community as much as possible, God willing.
Jabran added that the campaign is part of the duty of the Jerusalem Electric Company towards different segments of society, and falls within the framework of the company's social responsibility, reflecting the authenticity of the company and its policies in serving the community.
He also added that this campaign will include providing food parcels through a number of charitable institutions and entities to ensure their delivery to those in need, stressing that the company will remain loyal to the Palestinian people.
For his part, Imad Abu Nssar, the President of Sun'a Al-Amal Charity Association, thanked the Jerusalem District Electricity Company, represented by its General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Hisham Al-Omari. He emphasized that these food parcels will contribute to alleviating the suffering of the association's members from underprivileged families and orphans, and he appreciated this great gesture from the management of the Jerusalem District Electricity Company.
Abu Nssar also pointed out that the San'a Al-Amal Charity Association will distribute these food parcels to the deserving recipients in the coming days as part of a comprehensive campaign to distribute parcels on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
