In an indication of the beginning of the disintegration of the extreme right-wing fascist government, the Israeli Minister of Defense threatened to resign from his position if the Israeli government continued its approach of rejecting all initiatives aimed at resolving amendments to the judiciary presented by the ruling coalition led by Netanyahu.

Channel 13 in Israli TV reported that "Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant told his Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that if the judicial reform plan promoted by the government continues without a broad agreement, he will resign from his position as Minister of the Israeli army."

Galant's threat comes one day after the Israeli Immigration Minister, Amichai Chikli, who told government ministers and members of the coalition government in the Knesset yesterday, "I will overthrow your government." Chikli, addressing the Knesset members on Sunday, March 19, 2023, said:

"Do not anger me, I will overthrow this government, as I did in the previous government!"

The reason behind this statement is that the Haredi ministers, from religious parties, demanded that Haredi students studying the Torah in religious Yeshivas have priority in appointments to government jobs, equating their preference with reserve soldiers in the army!

It is worth mentioning that MP Amichai Chikli was in the Yamina party led by Naftali Bennett in the previous government, then separated from Naftali Bennett's government, along with MP Idit Salman, which led to the overthrow of the previous government
