Emir Ćosović, head of the Youth Democrats Foundation in Sarajevo, sends his greetings to the Palestinian people, declaring that in Bosnia, there are brothers of Palestine who work for its cause on various levels.

Ćosović affirms that the Bosnian people, in general, love the Palestinian people and are aware of the suffering they endure under Israeli occupation. He describes how he, along with hundreds or even thousands of Bosnian youth, expressed their solidarity with Palestine and its national cause. Gorbinish has been working for Palestine for years through his foundation.

Ćosović talks about the beginnings of their solidarity work, which started two years ago when they visited several embassies of friendly countries in their capital to strengthen their relations. Among them was the embassy of Palestine, where they met with Ambassador Rizq Al-Namoura, who spoke to them about the reality of Palestinian life. They expressed their hope for collaboration with Palestinian youth, and eventually, a delegation from the Youth Horizon Foundation arrived, marking the beginning of their cooperation.

He said that as head of the Executive Committee of the Youth Secretariat in the Democratic Party SDA, we organized national tours for A- OFOQ Foundation which is a Palestinian youth organisation, where they met with politicians from their party and other Bosnian parties. They also met with the Director of the Department of Fatwa and were briefed on the reality of holy sites.

They organized meetings with various youth institutions to discuss joint work and offer help from Bosnian youth to Palestine through the strengthening of various youth relations, including those focused on culture and other aspects.

The young politician sends his greetings to the Palestinian people and confirms that there are brothers in Bosnia who work for Palestine on various levels. He said that the Bosnian people in general love the Palestinian people and understand the suffering they are going through due to the Israeli occupation, which pushed him and hundreds if not thousands of Bosnian youth to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and their national cause. Amir has been working for Palestine for many years through the Youth Democrats Foundation in Sarajevo.

Emir Ćosović said that the visit of the Horizon Youth Foundation included meetings with parliamentary parties in Bosnia, where they discussed the reality of Palestine and the desire of youth institutions to work together and the necessity of their support for these youth initiatives. He also added that they were very saddened by the martyrdom of the journalist Shireen Abu Akleh and organized a solidarity stand with her in front of the Palestinian embassy with the participation of hundreds of young people in Bosnia.

Regarding Israel's attempts to infiltrate Bosnia through the economy, Emer said they are currently discussing mechanisms and ways to confront Israeli intervention and infiltration in their country by periodically publishing awareness-raising videos about Israeli crimes against our brothers in Palestine. They also distribute drawings and slogans in areas where citizens walk in Sarajevo. They have many ideas to fight these Israeli attempts that we are starting to see, the latest of which was raising the Bosnian flag with the Israeli flag in the streets of the city on the occasion of the opening of an Israeli commercial office. 

He added that the majority of the Bosnian people oppose these relations and do not want them. He also said that the latest video he produced explains to Bosnian citizens the risks of relations with Israel, how they violate the rights of the Palestinians and international law, and how they prevent the raising of the Palestinian flag. 

The videos also talk about the love of Palestinians and the holy sites, emphasizing that he and those with him are working to familiarize the Bosnian people with the truth of what is happening in Palestine.

He stated that the biggest evidence of the Bosnian people's solidarity with the Palestinian people is that the latest video produced by his organization garnered 40,000 views and hundreds of supportive comments, with only one critical comment. He also mentioned that the majority of citizens condemned the attacks carried out by Israel against the Palestinian people.

He personally opposes any form of relations with Israel because it is an occupying state that violates international law and commits crimes against the Palestinian people. Israel has been carrying out operations of displacement, killing, and demolition of Palestinian homes for 75 years, which are things that they cannot accept.

He affirmed that they are monitoring the actions of media companies that try to promote lies and inaccurate news. Also, Israel and affiliated entities are trying to exploit Bosnia's economic situation by making promises to improve the economy, but they are on the lookout for these Israeli lies and exposing them.

Ćosović the Bosnian solidarity activist with the Palestinian people, concludes his talk with PNN by saying that his message, and that of everyone who believes in Palestinian rights, is that they are with the Palestinian people and will always stand by their side. They will continue to work for them and raise awareness of their cause. 

He also affirmed that he will continue to work to strengthen communication and relations with them, adding that this interview with the Palestinian News Network (PNN) is part of that communication effort. They are also seeking to strengthen their media message and collaboration with PNN, and are considering many steps to enhance these relations.

He also addressed a message to the Bosnian people not to believe any information sent by parties trying to establish a relationship with the occupying state, Israel. He called on them not to trust and to verify the information with experts and to communicate with official bodies in Bosnia to know the truth. He also emphasized the need to strengthen relations with the Palestinian embassy, which is connected to them and all institutions in Bosnia.

He pointed out that the Palestinian ambassador, Rizk Nammoura, is a supporter of Bosnia and works professionally to serve his country and relations with Bosnia.

He also mentioned that there are good relationships at many levels, as Bosnian presidents have visited Palestine in recent years, and they have received various Palestinian delegations. They will continue to receive more delegations in the future, and they will try to visit Palestine as well, standing by its side.
