Israeli settlers continued their rampage in the occupied territories with vandalism of Palestinian cars, writing hate graffiti on walls of homes, and attacking a school and Palestinian commuters on West Bank roads.
Local sources said that settlers sneaked early this morning into the industrial area of the city of al-Bireh, adjacent to Ramallah, slashed tires of three Palestinian-owned cars, and wrote hate graffiti on walls of homes calling for death to Arabs.
In the town of Hawwara, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus, a settler broke with his car in the town’s high school to cause trouble but he was stopped and forced to leave by school staff, according to Ghassan Daghlas, an official.
Last night, settlers threw rocks at Palestinian commuters on roads north of Ramallah as they attempted to break into the town of Turmus Ayya, where they had set a house and cars on fire, but were pushed back by the residents.
