The death toll from Israel’s war in the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,783 Palestinians, with 174,738 others wounded since Oct. 7, 2023, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The sources said Gaza hospitals received the bodies of 10 Palestinians killed and 56 people wounded over the past 24 hours.
The total number of Palestinians killed since the cease-fire took effect on Oct. 11 has risen to 1,369, while 4,627 people have been wounded, the sources said. A total of 831 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble since the cease-fire began.
The sources said a number of victims remain trapped beneath the rubble and on roads, while ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them.
The figures could rise further as rescue teams continue to face difficulties accessing areas where victims are believed to remain trapped.
