The number of Palestinians killed and injured in the Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,072 fatalities and 171,741 injuries since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression in October 2023, according to medical sources.

Health authorities reported on Sunday that in the past 48 hours, two Palestinians were killed and three others injured by Israeli attacks, while additional victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets, with rescue teams unable to reach them so far.

The sources added that since the ceasefire that took effect on October 11, 2025, the total number of Palestinians killed has reached 614, with 1,643 injured, while 726 bodies have been recovered.
