A young Palestinian man and a young woman were killed on Sunday morning by Israeli gunfire and shelling in the central and southern Gaza Strip, in ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement, bringing the death toll since the start of the day to three.
Medical sources reported that 20-year-old Nassim Abu Al-Ajeen was shot and killed by Israeli military vehicles in the Abu Al-Ajeen area east of Deir al-Balah.
The sources added that young woman Dalia Khaled Asfour succumbed to her injuries sustained during the war when Israeli forces shelled her family home on Al-Dakhiliya Street in central Rafah, joining her four children who had previously been killed in the attack.
Earlier Sunday, another Palestinian was killed and a second seriously injured by Israeli artillery shelling in Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
With these new fatalities, the total number of Palestinians killed since the start of the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, has risen to 579, with 1,544 injured and 717 bodies recovered.
