Israeli occupation forces set fire to several homes in the Jenin refugee camp on Saturday, as their assault on the city and its refugee camp continues into its 54th consecutive day.
According to local Sourses, Israeli forces ignited fires in additional homes within the camp and continued their destruction of infrastructure near Jenin Governmental Hospital, having already blocked the main roads with dirt barricades.
Since the start of the offensive on January 21, Israeli forces have completely demolished around 120 homes in various neighborhoods within the refugee camp. Furthermore, many other homes have sustained severe damage, and approximately 20,000 residents have been forcibly displaced from their homes.
The ongoing Israeli assault on Jenin has resulted in the killing of 34 Palestinians and left dozens more injured. The offensive has also caused unprecedented damage to the region’s infrastructure, as well as significant losses in both public and private property.
