The Ministry of Health Reports a Total of 4,473 Martyrs Since the Start of the Israeli Aggression on Gaza on October 7th.

In a statement released today, the Ministry stated that 4,473 martyrs have been admitted to Gaza hospitals since the beginning of the aggression.

 The number of martyrs in the West Bank governorates has risen to 84.

The Ministry further confirmed that 70% of the casualties in the Gaza Strip are children, women, and the elderly.

Additionally, over 15,400 citizens have been injured since the onset of the aggression, with 14,000 of them in the Gaza Strip and 1,400 in the West Bank governorates."

On this day, Palestinian doctors also carried out the burial of dozens of Palestinian martyrs in a mass grave near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City. 

This was necessitated by the presence of hundreds of martyrs' bodies in the hospital, making it impossible to bury them regularly due to the ongoing Israeli airstrikes.

A doctor who oversaw the burial of these martyrs reported that a significant number of them remain unidentified. It has become challenging to ascertain their identities, and due to the high number of martyrs, they could not be stored in morgue refrigerators. Therefore, it was decided to proceed with their burials today without knowledge of their identities.

He further added that forty bodies of martyrs, including children, women, and men, could not be identified, and they will be buried without being recognized. It became imperative to lay them to rest due to the impossibility of keeping them without a proper burial.
