Official Egyptian sources warned against pushing unarmed Palestinians to flee towards the Egyptian border, and against some parties calling for mass exodus.

Egyptian sources said in statement that Egypt has intensified its contacts with all active parties of the international community to stop the escalation and stop the bloodshed of the Palestinian people.

The sources stressed the seriousness of the calls for displacement, noting that they are enough to empty the Gaza Strip of its population and liquidate the Palestinian cause itself, adding the fact that Egyptian sovereignty is not permissible.

The sources held the Israeli occupation authority responsible for creating humanitarian corridors, stressing the need to stop military operations immediately.
