Nablus /PNN/

Israeli occupation forces demolished the house of prisoner Kamal Jouri in Nablus on Thursday morning as part of the collective punishment policy implemented by the occupation authorities against our people.

The Israeli army detonated the house after a large-scale raid accompanied by armed confrontations and clashes, during which locally made explosive devices were thrown and gunfire was exchanged. The Israeli army responded by firing live ammunition and toxic tear gas.

Following the demolition of the house, Kamal Houri's mother said that houses can be compensated for and everything can be compensated for, everything is sacrificed for Kamal.

Kamal Jouris mother added after the Israeli occupation demolished her house in the Tel area of Nablus that Kamal is a fighter and a resistance member, and he carried out an operation that uplifts our spirits.

Kamal Jouris father said that the occupation may destroy the stone, but it will never destroy the strong determination that we derive from Kamal, Muhammad, and all the prisoners, adding that we will build the house and hundreds of houses instead of the houses demolished by the occupation.

Local sources reported that Nablus witnessed successive explosions simultaneous with the ongoing Israeli occupation raid of Kamal Houri's house in Nablus, in preparation for its demolition.

In the early hours of dawn, Israeli occupation forces stormed Nablus and raided the residential building where Kamal Houri's apartment is located, evacuating families from all the apartments and detaining his family. The engineering units of the Israeli occupation army planted explosives in the house and detonated it.

In addition to the armed clashes, the residents of Nablus confronted the occupation forces by blocking roads with stones, setting tires on fire, and resisting the Israeli occupation. The loudspeakers of the mosques in the city echoed with Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) and called on the citizens to confront the occupation.

It is worth noting that the raid on the house of prisoner Kamal Jouri, who is detained in occupation prisons, comes in the context of his accusation by the Israeli occupation authorities of being one of the leaders of the Black Den and one of the perpetrators of the Shavei Shomron checkpoint operation in which a soldier was killed months ago.
