Ramallah / PNN /
Today, Sunday, settlers plowed areas of land in the town of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah.
Local activist Mohammed Ghafri reported that settlers brought in a tractor onto lands owned by residents of Sinjil in the Al-Ma’arshiya plain in the northern part of the town and began plowing them, indicating their intent to seize the land.
He explained that the landowners have been barred from accessing their property since October 7, 2023, after the Israeli authorities declared the area a military zone. The lands are located just 200 meters from residents’ homes.
The total area of agricultural lands north of Sinjil is estimated at 8,000 dunums, from which the occupation prevents citizens from entering or accessing, citing military reasons.
