Israeli occupation forces on Thursday obstructed the work of journalists and detained two of them while they were covering the ongoing assault on Tubas Governorate for the second consecutive day.
Several journalists reported that the occupation forces detained journalists Shadi Jarar’ah and Yazan Hamayel.
Occupation soldiers also chased journalists as they worked in the city of Tubas and ordered them to leave.
Director of the Prisoners’ Club in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odeh, stated that 119 cases of detention and arrest have been documented in Tubas Governorate since the assault began yesterday, including a former female prisoner and her mother. He added that the occupation has released around 50 of those detained after conducting field interrogations with them.
