Israeli occupation forces continued on Tuesday morning their bombardment and the demolition of citizens’ homes in several areas in the eastern Gaza Strip.
Journalistic sources reported that the Israeli army detonated a booby-trapped armored vehicle east of Gaza City.
They added that the army carried out airstrikes and demolition operations targeting buildings located beyond the “yellow line” east of Gaza City.
An Israeli helicopter also opened fire east of Al-Tuffah neighborhood in northeastern Gaza.
In the southern part of the Strip, sources said that Israeli artillery targeted areas east of Khan Younis.
They noted that the Israeli army fired smoke grenades east of Khan Younis.
Israeli aircraft launched airstrikes east of Khan Younis City simultaneously with heavy gunfire from military vehicles.
The sources added that Israeli artillery targeted the northeastern area of Al-Bureij in the central Gaza Strip.
In Gaza City, loud explosions were heard east of the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood alongside heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles.
On Monday evening, Israeli forces had also fired heavily in the eastern areas of Khan Younis.
Israeli artillery renewed its shelling east of the Al-Shuja’iyya and Al-Tuffah neighborhoods in eastern Gaza City.
