Gaza – PNN – On Thursday, the Civil Defense in Rafah warned of severe risks facing tens of thousands of displaced people as weather changes and storms approach, while they remain in dilapidated tents and destroyed homes in the Mawasi areas of Khan Yunis, the outskirts of Rafah, and along the coastline.

The Civil Defense confirmed that these displaced individuals lack the most basic means of protection against cold and rain, signaling an imminent humanitarian disaster if urgent measures are not taken.

It called on relevant authorities, emergency teams, and humanitarian organizations to intensify their interventions and expand relief efforts, despite limited resources, to protect the displaced and provide their essential needs before the situation worsens with the worsening weather conditions.
