 Today, Wednesday, Israeli Minister of Security Israel Katz stated that the army is continuing its operations aimed at destroying the tunnel network of Hamas and eliminating militants within what he described as the “yellow zone” in Gaza, emphasising that operations are being carried out without any restrictions in those areas.

He added that the forces are focused on disabling the movement’s combat capabilities and protecting areas adjacent to Israel, noting that the military operation will continue according to plan until the announced security objectives are achieved.

Katz stated that his government is committed to returning all the remains of the hostages to the homeland, affirming that work will continue until this mission is accomplished. He added that the efforts of the army and the government will not stop there, and that they will also pursue the disarmament of Hamas and the weapons in Gaza as part of the security objectives Israel is seeking to attain.
