 This morning, Tuesday, the Israeli naval forces arrested five fishermen off the coast of Gaza City.
According to local sources, the naval forces arrested five fishermen, all residents of Gaza City: the brothers Mohammad, Mahmoud and Ahmad Rashad Al‑Hissi; Alaa Rajab Al‑Hissi; and Mohammad Ahmad Talbah.
It is worth noting that the occupation navy deliberately targets fishermen in the sea off Gaza daily by firing on them, arresting them, and seizing their boats. However, since 7 October 2023, the fishermen have been banned from practising fishing, many of them have been executed, and all the boats destroyed, forcing them to fish under extremely dangerous conditions in order to provide for their families.
