Medical sources announced today, Sunday, that the death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 68,865, the majority of whom are children and women, since the onset of the occupation’s assault on 7 October 2023.
The sources added that the number of injured has risen to 170,670 since the beginning of the assault, while a number of victims remain under the rubble, unreachable by rescue and medical teams.
They noted that seven bodies of martyrs were brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip (including three newly declared martyrs, three retrieved from underneath the rubble, and one martyr who died of his wounds).
Since the cease-fire agreement on 11 October, the toll of martyrs and injured has stood at 236 dead and 600 wounded, and 502 bodies have been retrieved.
