Gaza’s Government Media Office reported Monday that only 534 aid trucks entered the Strip over five days, out of an expected 3,000 trucks, many of which were “looted and stolen.”

Over the past five days (Tuesday to Saturday), just 534 trucks of aid reached Gaza out of 3,000 expected. The supplies were reportedly looted amid deliberate security chaos allegedly orchestrated by Israel as part of a policy designed to weaken Palestinian resilience.

During the past 35 days, a total of only 3,188 aid trucks entered Gaza, out of an anticipated 21,000, meaning roughly 15% of the actual needs were met. The media office stressed that these limited quantities were subject to looting and theft, with Israel preventing adequate aid delivery.

Israel continues to block aid, close crossings, and undermine the work of humanitarian organizations. Since March 2, all crossings into Gaza have been closed, preventing any humanitarian aid from entering, plunging the Strip into famine despite aid trucks accumulating at its borders.

About a month ago, limited quantities of aid were allowed in, insufficient to meet the minimum needs of the starving population, and the famine persists.

Israel’s ongoing blockade has lasted more than six consecutive months, preventing the entry of 430 essential food items and hundreds of other vital supplies. Gaza requires more than 600 aid trucks daily to meet the basic needs of 2.4 million residents.

The media office held Israel and its allies fully responsible for the humanitarian catastrophe and called on the United Nations, Arab and Islamic countries, and the international community to take serious action to open the crossings.
