Medical sources reported Monday that the death toll in Gaza has risen to 63,557, the majority being children and women, since the Israeli assault began on October 7, 2023.

The number of injuries has reached 160,660, while many victims remain trapped under rubble, inaccessible to rescue and medical teams.

Over the past 24 hours, 98 fatalities and 404 injuries were reported in Gaza hospitals. Since March 18, following Israel’s breach of the ceasefire, hospitals have recorded 11,426 deaths and 48,619 injuries.

Among those who reached hospitals in the last 24 hours, 46 were fatalities and 239 were injured, bringing the total number of victims who received hospital care for subsistence-related conditions to 2,294 deaths and 16,839 injuries.

Hospitals also reported nine additional deaths from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours, including three children, raising the total to 348 deaths, including 127 children.
