A Palestinian boy identified as Amir Mamoun Odeh, 16, was shot in the chest and killed by the Israeli army during confrontations in Qalqilya in the north of the West Bank, according to the Ministry of Health.

It said Odeh was shot in the chest and critically wounded at the northern entrance to the city.

He was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead a few hours later.
