A young man from southern Bethlehem’s Taqua’ Village attempted to stab a settler the Israeli Gilo Settlement between Bethlehem and Jerusalem late Thursday morning. Local sources identified him as 20 year old Mohammad Al Bedan.
This afternoon at least 20 Israeli military patrols stormed Taqua' Village and arrested Al Bedan's sister Maisa's husband Salim Sha'ar. Taqua' police told PNN that Israeli forces intend to demolish the Al Bedan family home.
Palestinian and Israeli sources confirmed that Al Bedan was carrying a knife and used it against an Israeli settler and police officer who were moderately injured. Soldiers in the area shot and severely injured Al Bedan. He is currently in an unknown state and location. The massive incursion of Taqua' Village is ongoing. |
