Random, Unjustified Arrests of Palestinians

Wednesday, 4th July, Prisoners' center for studies said the Israeli occupation is executing huge, random and unjustified arrests in the West Bank governorates.
It also said that there is a clear escalation in the number of detainees in Israeli jails according to statistics published by institutions concerned with the prisoners' issues.
The released prisoner and director of the prisoners' center for studies, Ra'fat Hamduna, confirmed that the number of prisoners is increasing due to international and Arab ignorance.
He also said that the arrests include the released prisoners, who were released in Shalit's deal, fishermen in Gaza's sea, Palestinians on military checkpoints and crossings from children, women, school and university students and workers.
Hamduna called on the international and human rights institutions to expose the occupation crimes and violations that Israeli authorities practice against the Palestinian people.
