Al-Khafash: Prisons’ Administration Reduces the Visit Duration to 30 Minutes

On Monday, 2nd July, The director of Ahrar center for prisoners' studies and human rights, Fuad Al-Khafsh, said that the Israeli prisons' administration imposed a new condition on al-Karama agreement.

Al-Khafsh said that the prisons' administration reduced the visit duration from 45 minutes to 30 minutes, which violates the conditions of the signed agreement.

Al-Khafsh also said that the strike's main goal was to achieve the demands of the prisoners; the cease of solitary confinement and the policy of the administrative detention and allow for parents from Gaza to visit their children in Israeli jails.

The prisoners' leadership agreed to cease their hunger strike that lasted for 18 days and signed the agreement with the Israeli prisons' administration in the 17th April, under an Egyptian supervision.
