Prisoners Are on Their 11th Day of Hunger Strike

On Friday 27th April, Palestinian prisoners entered their 11th day of hunger strike in protest against the brutal practices of the Israeli prisons´ administration.
The prisoners refused the offer from the Israeli prisons administration on Thursday, that they will allow prisoners to see and talk to their families via “Video Conference” if they accepted to end their strike.
The solidarity activities that aim to support prisoners and call on the world to pressurize the Israeli occupation, are taking place in the West Bank , Gaza Strip , Jerusalem and in European countries as well.
The prisons´administration which are due to strike, are in protest against the brutal and aggressive procedures against striking prisoners by the Israeli Occupying Force in punitive measures to force them to end their hunger strike.
Prisoners started their hunger strike on the anniversary of the Prisoners’ Day on 17th April to achieve their legal demands to put an end to administrative detention and solitary confinement.
