Israel Decides to Confiscate 431 Dunums of Nahalin Village’s Lands

On Thursday, Israeli forces notified several Palestinians from Nahalin village, west of Bethlehem that the Israeli authorities issued an order to confiscate their agricultural lands near Beitar Illit settlement, which was built on the lands of Husan, Wadi Fukin and Nahalin villages.

The head of the village's council, Ossama Shakarneh, said that the villagers found on Wednesday that notes were put on their agricultural lands in al-Kabarat area, west of the village. They were informed that they must evacuate their lands, that have an area of 431 dunums within 45 days, or the Israeli authorities would start the evacuation, and the owners must pay them the expenses.

Shakarnah also said that the citizens were given 45- day period to submit their opposition to the Israeli Ofer military prison, assuring that the villagers would submit the needed papers to stop the Israeli aggressive procedures: their demolition orders and confiscation of their lands.
