On Tuesday 22nd January, Israeli occupation forces arrested the Palestinian, Alaa Abu al-Haija', 28, from inside Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, and transferred him to al-Qashla interrogation centre in Bab al-Khalil (Hebron Gate) in the old city.
Eyewitnesses said that Abu al-Haija' was arrested because he chanted Allahu Akbar (God is the Greatest).
The witnesses also said that Israeli authorities allowed 100 Israeli settlers to enter into the mosque, within the program entitled "foreign tourism to Al-Aqsa".
