On Tuesday 25th December, a group of settlers intercepted several Palestinian farmers from east of Yatta and prevented them from reaching their land located between Susiya and Havat Ma'oun settlements.
Coordinator of Popular Committee against settlement and Apartheid Wall, Rateb Jbour, said that settlers intercepted the farmers who were heading to their lands in Wad al-Sweed area, east of Yatta, and prevented them from plowing their lands. A verbal altercation erupted between the settlers and farmers and turned into a physical fistfight. The Israeli forces then, interfered and prevented farmers from working in their lands.
Jbour added that settlers always attack and harass the Palestinian farmers, prevent them from reaching their lands and that the Israeli forces always support and provide them with protection.
