Farmers Near Bethlehem Served with Land Confiscation Notices

On Wednesday 19th September, the occupation authority summoned Palestinian farmers from Wadi Fuken village West of Bethlehem to hand over notices of land confiscation.
Head of the Village Council, Ahmad Sukar, told PNN that the farmers Saber Manasra and Jum'a Yousef Assaf have found the Israeli notices which show that Israel will confiscate 60 acres of their land in al-Bas and Khelit Arar adjacent to Tzur Hadassah settlement.
The farmers also found maps that show the lands which Israel plans to confiscate under claims that these are Israeli territories.
Palestinian farmer has a right to appeal the decision in Israeli courts within a period of 45 days.
Sukar revealed that Israel continues to seize the lands of Palestinians in Wadi fuken village, as Israel has confiscated 200 acres till now.
