Friday 17th August, dozens of demonstrators were tear-gassed in Bil'in weekly march, which began after Friday prayers from the center of the village toward the Israeli apartheid wall.

Dozens of Israeli and foreign peace activists were marching in the protest along with the local residents of the village. The participants raised Palestinian flags and they chanted slogans calling for resisting the occupation, demolition of the separation wall and the liberation of the Palestinian prisoners.

As the protesters gathered near the Abu Lemon's area adjacent to the wall, the Israeli soldiers who were situated behind the concret wall, started shooting tear gas , stun grenades, rubber-coated metal bullets towards the demonstrators. They also sprayed skunk water on the protesters which led to the dozens of injuries.

On other side, some youths threw stones and eggs at the Israeli soldiers.
