On Thursday, 19th July, media spokesperson of the Popular Committee Against Settlement in Beit Ummar, Mohammad Ayyad, said that group of settlers from Beit Ein nearby settlement attacked and uprooted 15 trees in an agricultural land near the settlement in Wadi Abu al-Reesh area.
The land belonged to Hammad Abdul Hamed al-Sleibi, 77, who lost more than 200 trees during six attacks carried out by settlers since last summer.
This agricultural land represents the farmer and his family's only income and Sleibi was subjected to lot of assaults and threats by settlers and Israeli soldiers, in an attempt to force him leave his land, so they can seize it.
