Israeli Occupation Arrests Palestinians, Raid Several Cities in the West Bank

On Wednesday, 18th July, Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian after they raided Suref, west of Hebron in the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses told Palestinian News Agency WAFA that the Israeli soldiers arrested Mohammad Abu Farah, 35, after they raided his house in the village, and transferred him to an unknown location.

Israeli forces put military checkpoints at all the entrances of Hebron, detained Palestinians for several hours and checked their IDs.

The forces also arrested a Palestinian from Batir village, west of Bethlehem.

Local source said that the Israeli soldiers arrested Saed Mohamad Saed Abu Harthiyeh, 35, after they raided his house and searched it.

In Jenin, the Israeli forces raided the city and its refugee camp, north of the West Bank.

Eyewitnesses said that more than 10 military vehicle raided the city at 3 a.m. and started to shoot gun fire and sound and tear gas bombs.

They also broke into areas of al-Jabryat and al-Marah neighborhood, near Jenin refugee camp, no arrests were reported.
