Confrontation in Al-Nabi Saleh, Arrest of Al-Tamimi

On Wednesday, 6th June, Israeli forces stormed the central West Bank village of al-Nabi Saleh and vicious confrontations launched in between the Palestinian citizens and Israeli infantry forces.
Israeli infantry soldiers broke into the house of Bashir al-Tamimi, a leader in the Popular Resistance, searched the house and rummaged with the contents. Then, they arrested his son Tareq al-Tamimi, 30, and took him to an unknown location.
Eyewitnesses said that the Israeli forces imposed a siege on al-Nabi Saleh since Friday, closed the main entrance in order to force villagers to stop their weekly marches and their resistance to colonization.
