On Thursday, 3rd May, Israeli armed forces raided al-Makhrour the area, West of Beit-Jala city, and proceeded to surround a restaurant  belonging to the Qisiyieh family.

Bulldozers, escorted by Israeli soldiers, began demolishing the restaurant at 7 a.m, two hours after the raid.

Locals told PNN that dozens of Israeli vehicles, accompanied by two bulldozers raided al-Makhrour area, before heading to Qisiyeh's restaurant, remaining for several hours.

They also said Israeli forces prevented Palestinians from entering the area, by constructing a temporary checkpoint to block citizens from reaching al-Makhrour.

Al-Makhrour is an area located to the West of Beit-Jala city, and considered a continuous target for Israeli authorities due to its residence in Area C.

Israeli authorities prevent the lands' owners from constructing, digging wells, or even building a wall in that area. A few weeks ago, they demolished an electricity pole belonging to al-Quds Electricity Company and one house.
