On Tuesday, 7th August, Scandinavian aid ship started its sailing toward the Gaza Strip, hoping to break the Israeli blockade, which was imposed for more than six years. The ship holds pro-Palestinians activist groups.

According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, Torstein Dahle, the leader of the Norwegian section of the activist group said, "We have the same goal as the previous flotillas, to put an end to the blockade of Gaza by challenging the Israeli navy."

The trip organisers confirmed that they will not protest any Israeli attempt to stop them, which will be an easy task for the Israelis, because the ship crew are so few and non-violent.
