The office of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in Gaza, Osama al-Issawi, issued a press release on the second anniversary of the IDF commandeering of the Turkish flotilla the Mavi Marmara. Issawi also said that the ministry will issue postage stamps in the month of July commemorating the event as a symbol of loyalty to the victims of the Mavi Marmara and their families.
Meanwhile in the Turkish capital of Istanbul, a large parade commemorating the event is set to take place Thrusday. 9 Turkish citizens were killed in the incident.
