On Thursday, 24th May, a member of Fatah's central committee, Abbas Zaki, called upon the international society to apply pressure on Israel by forcing it to cease its crimes and continuous violations of the international law.
He also said that the new law that the Israeli Knesset will issue about authorising Israeli settlements that were built on Palestinian private lands is "illegal and unacceptable". He also called upon the international society to put an end to such violations, especially settlement building and expansion, the apartheid wall and the Judaism of Jerusalem, adding that Israel is a state above law.
Zaki said that there is an increasing international support with regards to the Palestinian cause, and that the Arabic and international movement would be beneficial to the Palestinians.
