On Monday, April 16th, Israeli bulldozers started destroying agricultural lands and ponds in al-Majnoneh area south of Dorah village in Hebron.
One of the lands' owners Tareq Amro told the media that two backhoes and four military vehicles spread out in the location and started to destroy the agriculture ponds. One of the ponds belongs to Malek Othman Amro and his brother; it contained rain water and is used for the irrigation of dozens of agriculture dunums in the area.
He also said that the Israeli forces are still in the area targeting the agricultural ponds that are considered to be the only water source that irrigates the agricultural lands and the monthly crops.
Israeli forces claimed that they had the demolition orders for the agricultural ponds, under the pretext that these ponds are in Area C, that is under full Israeli security control, and in which Palestinian agricultural activities are prohibited.
Israeli forces arrested three Palestinians from Hebron and Nablus at dawn today.
