Two Palestinian and two Italian activists, demonstrating in solidarity on the 2nd day Bil'in 7th Annual Conference of Popular Resistance, were arrested by the Israeli Occupying Force on Wednesday.
The activists gathered around the checkpoint between H1 and H2 area of Hebron and were arrested for shouting slogans calling for the end to occupation. Amongst those arrested was Issa Armro, coordinator of political activist group Youth Against Settlements, who was arrested and detained last week for occupying a house belonging to Palestinians but claimed by settler families in Hebron's old city.
The 7th Bil'in conference is one of popular struggle against the wall and settlements, alongside a commemoration of the martyrs murdered by the Israeli Occupying Forces. The conference attracts hundreds of internationals, politicians, Palestinians from the West Bank and Israeli activists
