Palestinian, Israeli Soldier Killed in an Exchange of Fire, Gaza

On Friday, 1st June, three Palestinians were wounded in an IAF strike on a motorcycle in Absan village, east of Khan Younes.
According to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, the Israeli attack came in a respond to the death of the IDF Soldier on the Israel-Gaza border, where a Palestinian and an Israeli soldier were killed in an exchange of fire.
The newspaper revealed that several Palestinians tried to breach the border fence into Israel in the southern part of the Gaza Strip and confrontations launched between Palestinians and the Israeli soldiers that were centered on the border.
The IDF soldier was identified as Netanel Moshiashvili, 21, from Ashkalon and the Palestinian was identified as Ahmad Abu Nasser from Khan Younes. Attacks have been increased lately along the Israel-Gaza Border.
