Zahar Doesn’t Exclude a Truce with Israel, But with Conditions

On Tuesday, 1st May, Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar stated that he obtained Egyptian nationality, taking advantage of a year old law allowing Palestinians with Egyptian mothers to obtain citizenship.
Al-Zharar doesn't discount a long-term truce with Israel, if the latter accepted several requests that all Palestinian factions agreed on.
Al-Zahar accused the Palestinian Authority of hindering the Palestinian reconciliation. Al-zahhar statements will be broadcasted at Radio BBC today.
